The Bosch GLI 12V-80 Professional is a cordless worklight designed for mobile, temporary illumination in dry indoor and outdoor areas. It is not intended for general room lighting.
Safety Warnings
- Handle the worklight with care; it generates intense heat.
- Do not use in hazardous areas or road traffic.
- Do not cover the lamp head during operation to prevent burns.
- Remove the battery before any work on the light, transport, or storage.
Product Description
The worklight features a lamp head (1) and an On/Off switch (2). The battery pack (3) is inserted into the handle and secured with an unlocking button (4).

Assembly
Battery Charging: The battery is supplied partially charged. Charge it fully in a recommended charger before first use. The Li-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life.

Operation
Inserting the battery: Insert the charged battery into the handle until it engages audibly and sits flush.
Switching On/Off: Press the On/Off switch (2) to start the light. Press it again to switch off. Only switch on when in use to save energy.
Deep Discharge Protection: The battery is protected against deep discharging by "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". The light switches off automatically when the battery is empty.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The worklight is maintenance-free. The light source cannot be replaced; if it is defective, the entire unit must be replaced. Clean the plastic lens only with a dry, soft cloth; do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
Transport and Disposal
The included Li-ion batteries are subject to dangerous goods legislation. Dispose of the light, accessories, and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
