The Bright Starts Comfy Bouncer - Jungle Vines (12312-ES) is designed for infants. Important usage limits: Stop using the bouncer when the baby starts trying to sit up or has reached 20 lb (9 kg), whichever comes first. This product is not a sleep product; if the baby falls asleep, move them to a firm, flat sleep surface like a crib or bassinet. Always use the bouncer on the floor; never on elevated surfaces.

Safety Warnings

  • Fall Hazard: Never leave the child unattended. Always use restraints and adjust to fit snugly.
  • Suffocation Hazard: Never use on soft surfaces like beds, sofas, or cushions. Never use as an infant carrier for travel.

Assembly Instructions

Battery Installation

The music/vibration unit requires (3) size C/LR14 (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the music/vibration unit.
  2. Insert the batteries, ensuring the polarity matches the markings in the compartment.
  3. Replace the cover and secure the screw.

Note: Weak batteries can cause erratic operation, distorted sound, or non-working motorized parts. Replace all batteries at once.

Using the Bouncer

The music/vibration unit is located on the bouncer frame. It features two switches:

  • Vibration: Slide the Vibration ON/OFF switch to the ON or OFF position. The vibration function automatically turns off after 30 minutes.
  • Music/Volume: Slide the switch to LOW or HIGH to play music. Slide to OFF to stop the music.

  • Seat Pad: Remove from frame. Fasten buckles and hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry, low heat.

  • Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.

Storage and Disassembly

To disassemble for storage, use a small Phillips screwdriver to depress the release button on the inside of each connecting hub. Remove the footrest tube and base frame tubes from each hub.
