This manual covers the assembly, operation, and safety guidelines for the Bright Starts Mickey Mouse Original Bestie Infant to Toddler Rocker. Important: This product is not for sleep or unsupervised use. Always use the restraint system and never place the rocker on elevated surfaces like tables.

Assembly Instructions

The rocker requires adult assembly. Follow these steps:

1. Frame Assembly: Connect the seat frame sides (1 and 2) using the rear cross bar (3). Ensure they click into place.
2. Kickstand: Attach the kickstand (4) to the frame.
3. Backrest: Insert the backrest tube (5) into the frame assembly.
4. Vibration Unit: Install the vibration unit (6) onto the frame using the provided screws (A and B).
5. Seat Pad: Attach the seat pad (7) to the frame, securing all buckles and hook-and-loop patches.
6. Toy Bar: Snap the toy bar (8) onto the frame.

Battery Installation

The vibration unit requires (1) size C/LR14 (1.5V) alkaline battery (not included). To install:

• Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the vibration unit.
• Insert the battery, ensuring the polarity matches the markings inside the compartment.
• Secure the cover with the screw.
• Replace batteries if the vibration becomes weak or stops working.

Using the Rocker

• Seat Restraint: Always use the restraint system. Adjust the straps to fit the child snugly. Stop using the restraint system once the child tries to stand up and can climb in and out.
• Recline Function: The reclined position is for children who cannot sit upright unassisted (up to 20 lb / 9 kg). Stop using the reclined position when the baby starts trying to sit up.
• Vibration: Press the button on the vibration unit to turn the vibration feature on or off.

Care and Cleaning

• Seat Pad: Remove from the frame. Fasten all buckles and hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
• Toy Bar and Toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.

Safety Warnings

• Fall Hazard: Never leave the child unattended. Never move or lift the product with the baby inside. Do not lift using the toy bar.
• Suffocation Hazard: Never use on soft surfaces like beds, sofas, or cushions. If the baby falls asleep, move them to a firm, flat sleep surface like a crib or bassinet.
• Weight Limit: Do not use for children over 40 lb (18 kg).
