Eyecup Adjustment

The monocular is equipped with twist-up eyecups to accommodate different users:

Eyecup in 'Up' position
Eyecup in 'Up' position
Eyecup in 'Down' position
Eyecup in 'Down' position
  • For users without eyeglasses: Twist the eyecup counter-clockwise until it locks into the fully "up" position.
  • For users with eyeglasses: Ensure the eyecup is in the "down" position to bring your eyes closer to the ocular lens for the full field of view.
  • Intermediate positions: The eyecup can be left at positions between fully up and fully down if preferred.

Focusing

To focus the monocular:

  1. Look through the monocular at a distant object with fine detail, such as a brick wall or tree branches.
  2. Turn the center focus knob until the object appears as sharp as possible.
  3. The monocular is now adjusted for your eye.

Care and Cleaning

To ensure years of trouble-free service, follow these care instructions:

  • General Care: Avoid sharp impacts and set the monocular down gently on hard surfaces. Ensure the strap is securely fastened before placing it around your neck. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Cleaning: Blow away dust or debris using a soft lens brush. To remove dirt or fingerprints, use the supplied microfiber cloth in a circular motion.
  • Deep Cleaning: If necessary, use photographic lens tissue and lens cleaning fluid or isopropyl alcohol. Always apply the fluid to the cleaning cloth, never directly onto the lens.

Safety Warnings

Never look directly at the sun while using your monocular, as this may cause serious damage to your eyes.

Warranty and Repair

Bushnell Legend Ultra HD monoculars come with a Lifetime Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized installation.
