Setup Instructions

1. Prepare for Setup: Select a level site clear of rocks, branches, and sharp objects. Remove all contents from the bag and unfold the four leg poles at the joints.
2. Lift Up Arm Joints: Two people are recommended for this step. Lift up on the arm joints until the roof poles angle upward and the tent partially stands up.
3. Extend Leg Poles: Extend each of the four leg poles until the locking buttons click into place. Rotate the short eave arms to the open position.
4. Stake Tent: Drive stakes at a 45-degree angle through the web loops at the base of the tent to secure it to the ground.
5. Attach Rainfly: Drape the rainfly over the tent, ensuring the "CORE" logo faces the front door. Insert the ends of the short eave arms into the hook-and-loop pockets on the underside of the rainfly. Fasten the rainfly on all four corners using the buckles and attach all hook-and-loop tabs to the roof and leg poles.
6. Stake Rainfly and Secure Vents: Remove guylines from the pockets on the rainfly and stake them out at a 45-degree angle. Stake out the ground vent on the back side and the webbing loop under the front door.

Takedown Instructions

• Leave the door unzipped to allow air to escape.
• Pull stakes from guylines and ground vents.
• Release hook-and-loop fasteners on the underside of the rainfly.
• Remove short eave arms from the pockets.
• Unbuckle the rainfly, fold into thirds lengthwise, and roll it up with the tent.
• Unlock the four telescoping leg poles and push down on the arm joints to collapse.
• Fold all collapsed poles to the center, gather the tent into a pod to compress air out, and store in the carry bag.

Important Safety Warnings

• Fire Safety: The tent fabric is flame-resistant (CPAI-84) but not fireproof. Keep all flame and heat sources away. Do not use fuel-burning devices, cook, or smoke inside or near the tent.
• Power Lines: Do not set up the tent under trees to avoid potential lightning strikes or falling limbs.
• Condensation: Condensation is not leakage. Minimize it by removing wet clothing and ensuring good ventilation.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Clean with a soft sponge, mild soap, and tepid water. Let dry in sunlight.
• Waterproofing: The tent is water-repellent, not waterproof. Do not use chemical sprays as they may compromise the factory-applied coatings. Use seam sealing compounds if additional moisture protection is needed.
• Storage: Never store the tent without drying it thoroughly and brushing off caked dirt.
