Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential instructions for the safe operation and maintenance of the Neo Tools 190G gas lamp (models 20-021 and 20-022). Always use the device outdoors or in well-ventilated areas, keep it away from flammable materials, and ensure the gas cartridge is replaced only when completely empty and in a safe environment.
Device Description
The lamp is a portable gas burner designed for use with 190g butane cartridges. Key components include:
- Gas control knob
- Nozzle
- Gas cartridge cover
- Handle
Installation
The device requires a 190g butane gas cartridge (not included). Follow these steps to install:
- Ensure the lamp valve is fully closed by turning the knob in the '-' direction.
- Check that the gasket is in place and in good condition.
- Insert the gas cartridge into the housing.
- Position the lamp vertically and tighten the fixing nut onto the housing by holding the top of the cartridge compartment.
- The cartridge will be punctured during this process. Do not attempt to remove it once punctured.
Operation
To ignite and use the lamp:
- Slightly open the valve by turning the knob towards '+'.
- Immediately ignite the gas at the nozzle tip.
- Adjust the flame size as needed. Wait about 1 minute before use, keeping the lamp in an upright position.
- To extinguish, turn the valve fully in the '-' direction.
- For best performance, keep the gas cylinder vertical or at an angle no greater than 45°.
Cartridge Replacement
Only replace the cartridge when it is completely empty. Perform this task outdoors, away from people and ignition sources. Ensure the valve is closed and the burner is cold before unscrewing the lower cap to remove the empty cartridge and insert a new one.
Maintenance and Safety
- Cleaning: Use a damp cloth and soapy water. Never use abrasive agents.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, upright and out of reach of children. Never store in a cellar or poorly ventilated enclosed space.
- Troubleshooting: If the lamp fails to ignite, it may be due to moisture (dry the lamp) or a blocked nozzle. Do not attempt to repair the nozzle yourself; contact the manufacturer's service department.
