Quick Guide from the Manual

The Dualit 10L Soup Kettle is designed for commercial use to keep pre-heated food warm. It operates using a wet heat method, which requires water to be added between the inner and outer liner. Never operate the unit empty, as this poses a fire risk. Always ensure the unit is placed on a level surface and kept at least 200mm away from walls or cupboards.

Operation and Safety

  • Temperature: Always operate at the lowest possible temperature to minimize electricity costs.
  • Lid: Keep the removable hinged lid attached and in the closed position when not serving.
  • Moving: Never move or carry the kettle when it is switched on or contains food.
  • Switching Off: Turn the dial to '0' and unplug from the wall socket.

Cleaning & Care

Before cleaning, switch off the unit, unplug it, and allow it to cool down completely. Do not let the main body, flex, or plug get wet. Wipe the exterior with a soft, moist cloth and dry it. The stainless steel bain-marie and lid are machine washable. Do not use a high-pressure jet to clean the soup kettle.
