The ETA 9153 Crystela Premium is an electric kettle with adjustable temperature settings and a keep-warm function. Before first use, boil water to the maximum level and discard it at least five times to clean the system. Always ensure the kettle is placed on its base correctly for operation. The kettle features a tea strainer for direct brewing.

Instructions for Use
Heating Water:
- Fill the kettle with drinking water (between MIN and MAX marks).
- Place on the base. The B3 button will flash, indicating standby mode.
- Press B3 to heat to 100°C, or use B5 buttons to select a specific temperature (40, 60, 70, 80, 100°C).
- Active heating is indicated by a flashing diode on the LED panel and steady light on B3.
- The kettle switches off automatically when the temperature is reached.
Tea Strainer Usage:
- Attach the A7 adaptor to the kettle.
- Insert the A6 tea strainer into the adaptor.
- Add tea mixture only after the water reaches the desired temperature to avoid premature brewing.
Keep Warm Function:
- Press the B4 button.
- Use B5 to set the desired temperature.
- Press B3 to confirm. The kettle will maintain the temperature for 120 minutes.
Maintenance
Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Do not use aggressive detergents or scrapers. Clean the exterior with a soft cloth. For descaling, use a commercial descaler or citric acid (approx. 50g). Fill the kettle halfway with water and descaling agent, heat, let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the kettle is correctly placed on the base. The controls do not work without the kettle on the base.
When heating to low temperatures (40 or 50°C), ensure at least 0.7L of water is in the kettle for accurate temperature control.
Removing the kettle from the base during heating stops the process. If the keep-warm function is active, heating will resume when the kettle is placed back.

- Place the base on a stable surface at least 85cm high.
- Boil water to the max level and discard at least 5 times before first use.
- Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks.
