The Finder 12.C1 is a 1-module weekly astronomical time switch. This guide covers the essential setup, operation, and maintenance of the device. Note that the device requires configuration via the Finder Toolbox app to function correctly.

Connection Diagram

The device supports a wired push button for manual relay switching. The push button can be connected to the phase or neutral line. Pressing the button briefly (less than 2 seconds) switches the relay status until the next programmed time slot.

LED Description

The device features two LEDs for status monitoring:

• PROG (Multicoloured LED): Indicates time settings, Bluetooth status, and program status. Steady red means time needs setting; steady green means time is correctly set. Flashing blue indicates waiting for smartphone connection.
• CONTACT (LED B): Red when relay contacts are closed, off when open.

Device Push Button

• Communication: Press and hold for 3 seconds to start Bluetooth communication with the Finder Toolbox app.
• Manual Switching: Press briefly (< 2 seconds) to toggle relay status.
• Factory Reset: Press and hold for 12 seconds to reset the device to factory settings.

GPS Synchronization

Time can be synchronized using the 012.BG Bluetooth GPS antenna. Synchronization occurs automatically at 4:40 a.m. (at night) or 7 minutes after power-up. Manual synchronization and signal quality checks are available via the Finder Toolbox app.

Power Backup

The device includes a power backup feature. Approximate durations based on previous power-up time: 15 minutes of power provides ~16 hours of backup; 1 hour provides ~36 hours; 12 hours provides ~3 days; 24 hours provides ~7 days.
