Quick guide from the manual

The FLEX DW 37 12-EC is a cordless drywall screwdriver designed for professional use in industry and trade. It is intended for fastening drywall, chipboard, or fiberboard to wood or sheet metal using drywall screws.

Device Overview

Key components include the stop sleeve, bit sleeve, direction-of-rotation selector, LED worklight, impulse mode button, lock-on button, variable-speed trigger switch, and belt clip.

Operation

Battery: Insert the charged battery until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button.

Bit Installation: Move the direction-of-rotation selector to the middle position. Pull off the stop sleeve, push the bit sleeve back, insert the magnetic bit holder, and reattach the stop sleeve.

Depth Adjustment: Turn the stop sleeve clockwise for less depth and counterclockwise for more depth. Perform test drives in scrap material to verify settings.

Operating: Set the desired depth, secure the workpiece, and ensure the rotation selector is set correctly. Place the screw on the bit, position it on the surface, and apply pressure to engage the clutch. The auto-start function stops the tool once the set depth is reached.

Maintenance

Regularly clean the tool and the grille in front of the vent slots. Periodically blow out the housing interior and motor with dry compressed air.
