Device Description
The jigsaw features an LED worklight, blade holder, guide roller, base, orbital control lever, on/off switch, speed adjusting dial, and dust extraction tube. It is designed for cutting wood, plastic, and metal.
Operation
Battery: Insert the charged battery until it clicks. Press the release button to remove it. Protect battery contacts when not in use to prevent short circuits.
Blade Installation: Ensure the blade clamp lever is in the released position. Insert a T-shank blade into the holder until it locks. Verify the back edge fits into the guide roller.
Settings: The bevel angle can be adjusted from 0° to 45° (left or right) using the hex key. The speed adjusting dial (1-5) and orbital action lever (0-3) allow for optimal cutting performance based on the material.
Cutting Tips
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask. Ensure the blade reaches full speed before touching the workpiece. For metal cutting, use appropriate blades and lower speeds; never use wood-cutting blades for metal.
Maintenance
Regularly clean the tool and vent slots. Blow out the housing and motor with dry compressed air. For spare parts and exploded drawings, visit www.flex-tools.com.
