Quick guide from the manual
The GARDENA PowerJet 18V is a battery-powered leaf blower designed for clearing debris, grass clippings, and leaves from paths, driveways, and courtyards. It is not intended for long-term continuous operation. Important: Always wear eye and ear protection during use. Do not use the blower in enclosed spaces or to blow hazardous materials like flour, sand, or wood dust.
Assembly
- Push the blower tube onto the outlet until it stops.
- Turn the tube clockwise until it locks (bayonet connection).
- Optionally, attach the nozzle to the blower tube for corner cleaning until it clicks into place.
Operation
Charging the battery: Use a compatible POWER FOR ALL system charger. Slide the charger onto the battery. A flashing green light indicates charging; a solid green light means the battery is fully charged.
Starting: Insert the battery into the holder until it clicks. Pull the start lever to begin blowing. The battery charge status will be displayed for 5 seconds.
Adjusting airflow: Use the power wheel to select one of 7 airflow levels. Low airflow is ideal for light leaves on gravel, medium for normal foliage, and high for large or wet leaves.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance. Clean the airflow slots with a soft brush; do not use a screwdriver. Clean the battery and charger contacts with a soft, dry cloth. Never use running water or high-pressure cleaners.
Troubleshooting
If the blower vibrates abnormally, contact GARDENA service. If the error LED (Wp) is illuminated or flashing, check the battery temperature, ensure contacts are dry, or remove any blockages in the motor. If the blower fails to start, ensure the battery is fully inserted and charged.
