If the rear of the device is inaccessible after mounting, connect all necessary cables before final placement.
Wiring and Connectivity
The device features a power/NMEA 0183 cable harness. The red wire connects to the positive battery terminal, and the black wire to the negative terminal. The built-in fuse holder must not be removed. The device supports NMEA 2000 networking for sharing data with compatible sensors like GPS antennas or VHF radios. When connecting third-party devices to the Garmin Marine Network, a PoE isolation coupler (P/N 010-10580-10) is required to prevent damage to the plotter.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
