The Graco Soothe 'n Sway Bluetooth 3-in-1 Swing (1AV) is a versatile product that functions as a swing, an infant rocker, and a toddler rocker. Important: Always use the restraint system until the child can climb in and out unassisted. Never leave the child unattended. The product must be assembled by an adult.
Assembly
Before assembly, verify all parts are present: Seat pad/frame, base tubes (left and right), motor housing, body support, harness covers, crotch strap cover, and wall plug.
- Swing Base: Insert the ends of the base tubes into the openings in the motor housing until they click. Pull on each tube to ensure it is fully attached.
- Attach Seat: Hold the seat by the sides and attach it to the mount on the swing base. Ensure it is secure by lifting up on the seat.
- Remove Seat: Pull the handle on the rear of the base to unlock the seat.
Modes of Use
The product supports three weight-based modes:
- Infant Swing: For use up to 25 lb (11 kg).
- Infant Rocker: For use up to 20 lb (9 kg).
- Toddler Rocker: For use up to 40 lb (18 kg).
Operation and Controls
The control panel allows you to manage swing motion, vibration, music, and Bluetooth connectivity.
- Power: Plug the product into a wall outlet. Press the power button to turn the controls on. The swing will auto-shutoff after 4 hours.
- Swing Speed: Press the swing speed button to cycle through 6 motion options.
- Vibration: Press the vibration button to choose from 5 settings (Low to Highest, or Off).
- Music: Press the music button to turn on music and skip to the next song. Use the volume button to adjust sound levels.
- Rock Lock: Use the Rock Lock feature on the base to stabilize the seat when placing the child in or out of the product.
Safety Warnings
- Suffocation Hazard: Never use on soft surfaces like beds, sofas, or cushions. Always place the rocker on the floor.
- Strangulation Hazard: Keep cords out of reach. Do not use extension cords. Do not attach strings to toys or suspend them over the product.
- Fall Hazard: Always use the restraint system. Stop using the swing mode when the infant attempts to climb out (approx. 9 months).
Maintenance
Ensure the power cord is protected and not pinched by furniture. Do not use the AC adapter if it has been exposed to liquids or is damaged. Use only the provided power cord.

Swing not moving
Ensure the unit is plugged into a wall outlet and the power button is on. Check that the Rock Lock is unlocked.
