To operate, plug the tool into a power outlet, press the rear section of the on/off switch, slide it forward, and lock it. When cutting, maintain a moderate rate of advance and do not tilt the tool. For rough grinding, move the tool to and fro at a 5° to 30° angle of attack with moderate pressure.

Maintenance and Care
Regularly check all visible parts and controls for damage. Keep air vents clear at all times to prevent overheating. Clean the dust filter regularly and replace it if damaged. Do not use spray, steam pressure cleaning equipment, or running water for cleaning. If the tool is frequently used on conductive materials, have it checked by Hilti Service at regular intervals.
Troubleshooting
If the tool does not start, check the power supply and the supply cord. If the tool switches off and the speed control LEDs flash, it may be overloaded; release the switch and allow the tool to run under no load for 30 seconds. If 3DATC is activated, switch the tool off and on again. For persistent issues, contact Hilti Service.
