Product Description

The Hilti DD 150-U is an electrically powered diamond core drilling machine designed for both hand-guided and rig-mounted wet and dry drilling. It is suitable for creating through-holes and blind holes in mineral substrates, including reinforced concrete, and is also designed for dry drilling in wood when used with specific core bits.

Safety

Operational Safety: Always use the auxiliary handle. When drilling overhead, a water collection system combined with a wet-type industrial vacuum extractor is mandatory. Ensure the drill stand is securely fastened using anchors or a vacuum base plate. Never use the vacuum securing method alone for overhead drilling.

Operation

The tool features a multifunction display for monitoring status, gear selection, and Bluetooth connectivity. Ensure the tool is correctly mounted on the drill stand before operation. Always check the play between the rail and carriage. For wet drilling, connect the water supply and ensure the water collection system is properly installed to prevent water from entering the motor.

Maintenance

Regularly inspect all visible parts and controls for damage. Do not operate the product if parts are damaged or malfunctioning. Only use genuine Hilti spare parts. Replace carbon brushes when the service indicator appears on the display. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If the tool is not functional, check the PRCD, power supply, and for water in the motor. If the tool is functional but experiencing issues like reduced drilling speed, check for incorrect gear selection, low contact pressure, or a defective core bit. Disposal
