Product Description
The Hilti DD 150-U (03) is a powerful, electrically powered diamond core drilling machine. It is designed for both hand-guided and stand-guided drilling applications. It is suitable for wet and dry drilling, including through-holes and blind holes in reinforced mineral substrates. The tool also supports dry drilling in wood when used with specialized core bits.
Safety
General Safety: Always wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection, a hard hat, and ear protection. Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit. Never operate the tool if you are tired or under the influence of substances.
Drilling Safety: When drilling overhead, the use of a water collection system combined with a wet-type industrial vacuum extractor is mandatory. Ensure the drill stand is securely anchored or vacuum-secured before operation. Never use the vacuum securing method alone for upward drilling.
Setup and Operation
The machine can be used hand-guided or mounted on a drill stand. For stand-guided drilling, ensure the drill stand is securely fastened using anchors or a vacuum base plate. Always check the pressure gauge when using vacuum securing. The tool features a multifunction display that provides real-time data, including gear selection, contact pressure, and Bluetooth status.

Maintenance
Regularly clean the chuck and air vents. The tool features a service indicator that alerts the user when carbon brushes need replacement. Always replace all carbon brushes simultaneously and perform a run-in procedure under no-load conditions for at least one minute after replacement.
Troubleshooting
The multifunction display provides error codes and status messages. If the tool fails to start, check the PRCD, power supply, and ensure the motor is dry. If the tool overheats, allow it to cool down or run it at no-load to accelerate cooling.
Disposal
Most materials used in Hilti tools are recyclable. Please separate materials correctly before recycling. Do not dispose of power tools or batteries as household waste.
