Quick guide from the manual

This document provides technical specifications and installation requirements for the Ideal Evojet 1250kW condensing pressure jet boiler. It is intended for professional installers and specifiers. Key operational parameters include a maximum working pressure of 6 bar, a high limit set point of 110°C, and specific clearance requirements for maintenance and cleaning.

Boiler assembly

The Evojet 1250kW is a floor-standing unit featuring a stainless steel heat exchanger and a triple flue pass design. The assembly consists of a boiler frame, various side and rear panels, top cross beams, and a control panel. Ensure all panels are correctly positioned during installation as per the exploded view diagram.

Installation and clearances

To ensure safe operation and proper servicing, the following minimum clearances must be maintained:

  • Front: Burner length + 600mm for access/maintenance; boiler length for cleaning.
  • Rear: 1000mm minimum.
  • Sides: 1000mm minimum.
  • Top: 1000mm minimum.

Technical specifications

The boiler is designed for high efficiency with a part load efficiency of up to 108.7% (NCV 50/30). It supports multiple fuel types including Natural Gas, LPG, and Oil. The electrical supply required is 230V ± 10% 50Hz, 1 Ph, with a power consumption of 250W.

Hydraulics

The system is designed for fully pumped sealed water applications. Key hydraulic connections include:

  • Flow connection: DN150 PN6.
  • Return connections: DN150 PN6 (low temp) and DN100 PN6 (high temp).
  • Condensate connection: 1.25 inches.
  • Safety valve connection: DN80 PN6.

Control and operation

The boiler features a Primetech control panel with standard boiler temperature gauge, control thermostat, and safety thermostat. It supports modulation via 0-10V BMS or Siemens RWF controller. External components can be added for frost protection, weather compensation, and system pump control.

Practical help

Common problems

Insufficient gas pressure

The system is designed for 20mbar. If the available pressure is different, consult your sales contact for alternative burner matching.

Maintenance access issues

Ensure a minimum of 1000mm clearance on all sides and top, and burner length + 600mm at the front.

Before use

  • Verify the gas supply pressure meets the 20mbar requirement for Natural Gas.
  • Ensure the installation area meets the minimum floor space requirement of 2.40m² for the 1250kW model.
  • Confirm the hydraulic system is a fully pumped sealed water system.
  • Check that the electrical supply is 230V 50Hz 1 Ph.
  • Verify that the flue size is 400mm.

Specs in practice

Part load efficiency (108.7%)
Indicates high energy conversion efficiency during partial load operation.
Max working pressure (6 bar)
The maximum internal pressure the boiler system is designed to withstand.
High limit set point (110°C)
The temperature at which the safety thermostat will trigger to prevent overheating.

Images and diagrams

  • The exploded view identifies 20 key components including the boiler frame, various panels, and the control panel.
  • Dimensions A, B, and C correspond to the physical footprint of the unit (1170mm x 3010mm x 2030mm).

Model compatibility

  • Compatible with Natural Gas, LPG (special request), and Oil.
  • Suitable for B23 open flued applications; B23P configuration requires a premix gas burner.
  • Supports 0-10V DC BMS or Siemens RWF controllers.
