Assembly and Setup
Installing/Removing Battery Pack
To install, insert the battery pack and ensure the latches on each side snap into place. To remove, depress the latches on each side of the battery pack.
Installing Standard Sandpaper
- Remove the battery pack.
- Release the rear paper clamp by lifting the lever (marked 2).
- Push and hold the button (marked 1) on the front to open the front paper clamp.
- Insert the sandpaper into the front clamp, wrap it around the cushion, and secure the loose end under the rear clamp.
- Push down the lever to lock the rear clamp.
Paper Punch
Use the supplied paper punch template to align and punch holes in the sandpaper to match the sanding pad. Align the sanding pad over the punch and push down.
Operation
Turning the Sander On/Off
Insert the battery pack and push the ON/OFF button to start. Push again to stop. The tool is always in the OFF mode when the battery is not installed.
Variable Speed Dial
Adjust the sanding speed using the dial, ranging from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
Dust Collection
Dust Bag: Align the grooves on the dust bag with the notches on the sander dust exhaust. Turn clockwise to lock. Turn counterclockwise to unlock and remove for emptying.
Vacuum Connection: The sander can connect to 1-1/4 in. or 1-7/8 in. vacuum hoses. Remove the dust bag, then attach the vacuum hose to the dust exhaust port.
Maintenance

Common problems
Turn off the tool, remove the battery and sandpaper, empty the dust bag, and run the tool without a load to cool the motor.
Do not force the tool; the weight of the unit provides adequate pressure. Excessive pressure slows the motor and reduces speed.
Ensure the grooves on the dust bag are aligned with the notches on the sander dust exhaust before turning clockwise.
