The Ruko 1601AMP is an amphibious remote-controlled vehicle designed for both land and water use. Before your first play, ensure the vehicle battery is fully charged and the transmitter has fresh batteries. Always operate in open areas away from pedestrians and obstacles. Note that performance, speed, and battery life differ between land and water modes.
Transmitter setup
The transmitter operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band. To install batteries:

- Use a screwdriver to remove the battery cover on the back of the transmitter.
- Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
- Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws to ensure proper function.
Vehicle battery installation
To install the vehicle battery:

- Unscrew the upper cover of the car and remove it.
- Remove the battery compartment clip and the battery cover.
- Connect the battery power cable to the body interface, ensuring the correct orientation.
- Secure the battery cover with the clip and reinstall the upper cover, tightening the screws firmly to maintain the waterproof seal.
Charging the battery
The vehicle uses a 7.4V 850mAh battery. Charging takes approximately 3-4 hours.

- Use the original charging cable provided.
- Connect to a 5V/2A USB charging source. Do not use high-power chargers that exceed these specifications.
- The green indicator light on the charger will flash during charging and remain solid when complete.
- Disconnect the charger promptly once fully charged.
Operation guidelines
Pairing: Turn on the vehicle switch, then turn on the transmitter. Pairing is automatic; lights on both units will change from flashing to steady once connected.

Land Mode: Use the left stick for forward/backward movement and the right stick for turning left/right.
Surface Mode: The vehicle is slower on water (1.5 km/h) compared to land (10 km/h) due to resistance. Ensure the waterproof structure is intact before entering water.
Maintenance and safety
- After use: Power off the vehicle and transmitter, then remove the battery. Clean the car of mud, sand, or debris.
- Water use: After driving in water, remove the battery, wash the car, and dry it thoroughly to prevent corrosion.
- Storage: Store batteries at 50-60% charge in a cool, dry environment. Do not store with a full charge.
- Safety: Do not immerse the battery in water. If the battery gets wet, remove it immediately and place it in a safe, open area until dry. Do not use damaged batteries.
