The Unica Connected Wireless Switch is a battery-powered device designed to control Zigbee-enabled devices like lights or shutters via the Wiser Home app. It requires no wiring and can be configured as a 1-gang or 2-gang switch.
Pairing the device with Wiser Hub
- Open the Wiser Home app and tap the plus icon to add a device.
- Select 1-gang or 2-gang Connected Wireless Switch.
- Remove the rocker cover and press the top-right button 3 times.
- Wait for the LED to blink amber, then turn green, indicating successful pairing.
- Assign the device to a room in the app and reassemble the rocker.
Configuring the device
You can customize the switch functionality using the Wiser Home app:
- Location: Assign the switch to a specific room in the app.
- Renaming: Change the device name in the Device Details menu.
- Actions: Configure buttons to control specific devices (e.g., light on/off, shutter position).
- Moments: Group multiple actions together (e.g., Good Night scene).
Replacing the battery
- Remove the rocker using a screwdriver.
- Press and hold the battery lid while sliding it open.
- Replace the CR2032 battery with the plus (+) side facing outward.
- Slide the lid back to close and reattach the rocker.
Resetting the device
To reset to factory defaults (e.g., when changing gang configuration or replacing the Hub):
- Remove the rocker.
- Press the button 3 times (short press), then press and hold for over 10 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- Release the button; the device will restart.
Troubleshooting
- LED blinks red: Battery is low or drained; replace the CR2032 battery.
- Device offline: Ensure it is within range or press any button to wake it up.
- Connection issues: If the device is in Bluetooth mode instead of Zigbee, press the top-right button 3 times, then hold for 20 seconds until the LED blinks red to reboot into the correct mode.
