Safety and Warnings
General Safety: Inspect skin daily for redness or bruising. Keep the product dry and away from extreme temperatures. Regularly remove dust and dirt from moving parts.
Warnings: Do not use if hardware is missing or broken. Installing Spex products may change the wheelchair's center of gravity; consider adding anti-tippers. Never use the product to lift or push the wheelchair. Always use genuine Spex covers.
Transport Safety
The Spex seating system is crash-tested and suitable for use as a motor vehicle seat when used with an appropriate wheelchair base. Always use both pelvic and shoulder belt restraints. Ensure the user is below the weight limit of both the wheelchair and the seating system. All back supports must be used with a head support for transport. Zygo Lo is not certified for transport.
