The Steinel GlueMatic 1007-LT and 1007 are hot glue guns designed for various crafting and repair tasks. To operate, insert a glue stick into the heating channel at the back, place the tool on its stand, and allow it to heat up (approx. 8 minutes for the 1007-LT, 6 minutes for the 1007). Press the trigger to apply glue to one side of the material, then press the materials together firmly. The bond is fully load-bearing after approximately 2 minutes.
Device description
The device consists of a nozzle, a trigger, a power cord, and a heating channel for the glue stick.
Operation
Insert the glue stick into the heating channel. Rest the applicator on its wire stand, using a piece of cardboard or wood underneath if necessary. Allow the tool to heat up for the specified time. Apply glue to one side and press the materials together. For long items with large surfaces, spot gluing is recommended. For textiles, apply glue in wavy lines.
Safety warnings
Read all safety instructions before use. Do not leave the tool unattended while switched on. Keep out of reach of children. Do not pull the glue stick out of the applicator, as hot glue running into the tool can cause damage. Use only original Steinel glue sticks. The GlueMatic 1007-LT must only be operated with appropriate 85°C glue sticks.

The GlueMatic 1007-LT has a melting temperature of 85°C and a rated power of 8W. The GlueMatic 1007 has a melting temperature of 170°C and a rated power of 10W. Both models operate on 220-240V, 50/60Hz.

Common problems
Glue not coming out
Ensure the tool has heated up for the required time (8 minutes for 1007-LT, 6 minutes for 1007).
Glue stick stuck
Do not pull the glue stick out of the applicator. Let it heat up and continue operation.

- Check the tool for any damage to the housing or power cord.
- Ensure the surface to be glued is clean, dry, and free of grease.
- Use only original Steinel glue sticks.
