The Steinel GlueMatic 1007-LT and 1007 are hot glue guns designed for various crafting and repair tasks. To operate, insert a glue stick into the heating channel at the back, place the tool on its stand, and allow it to heat up (approx. 8 minutes for the 1007-LT, 6 minutes for the 1007). Press the trigger to apply glue to one side of the material, then press the materials together firmly. The bond is fully load-bearing after approximately 2 minutes.

The device consists of a nozzle, a trigger, a power cord, and a heating channel for the glue stick.

Operation

Insert the glue stick into the heating channel. Rest the applicator on its wire stand, using a piece of cardboard or wood underneath if necessary. Allow the tool to heat up for the specified time. Apply glue to one side and press the materials together. For long items with large surfaces, spot gluing is recommended. For textiles, apply glue in wavy lines.
