This guide provides essential information for the installation and maintenance of the Strands Freedom Legacy Interior Light. Always ensure the power is turned off before beginning any installation work.

Wiring Instructions

The light features a 40cm loose cable with a wire size of 0.75mm². Follow the wiring polarity below:

• Black: Positive (+)
• White: Negative (-)

Ensure you use a watertight solution for all wiring connections to prevent damage.

Installation

Before mounting, check state and local laws regarding proper usage and mounting regulations (e.g., ECE R48 for the EU). Follow these installation guidelines:

• Ensure power is turned off during installation.
• Do not cut the connector cable to less than 50 cm. If the original cable is shorter than 50 cm, leave it as is.
• Use only the correct accessories included in the package.
• Tighten screws, washers, and nuts carefully to prevent loosening or chafing, but do not overtighten to avoid damaging protective components.

Product Care

• Clean the product using lukewarm water and an alkaline degreaser. Avoid strong chemicals and do not use a pressure washer.
• If the light has a breather, ensure it is protected against rain and dust. Do not paint over the breather.
• Internal moisture is normal and will dissipate through the breather vent after several days of use.
• If painting the housing, ensure the breather is protected and do not use an oven for curing.

Safety Warnings

The light becomes hot under continuous use. Do not remove or touch the casing for at least 30 minutes after turning the lamp off. Always use the voltage specified in the product description.
