Installation

Getting Started

MicroSD Card

The camera supports MicroSD cards (Class 10, max 128 GB). The card must be formatted to FAT32. Insert the card into the slot inside the compartment until it clicks. To remove, press the card until it clicks and ejects.

Pairing

  1. Connect the camera to power.
  2. If not paired, the camera will emit two beeps and repeat them every 15 seconds.
  3. In the Smart Life app, select Add device, then Video Surveillance, then Smart Camera.
  4. Follow the app instructions to complete the connection.

Operation

Night Vision

The camera is equipped with a light sensor that automatically activates night vision when ambient light is low. Images will be recorded in black and white. Avoid placing the camera behind glass, as infrared glare may overexpose the image.

Motion Detection

  • With MicroSD card: 15-second clips are saved when motion is detected until the card is full. You will receive push notifications.
  • Without MicroSD card: No clips are saved. You will receive push notifications and can view live video via the app.

Resetting the Camera

If the camera malfunctions or needs to be re-paired:

  1. Open the compartment cover.
  2. Press and hold the Reset button for 4-5 seconds until a long beep is heard.
  3. Wait for the system to restart and enter pairing mode.
  4. If previously paired, remove the device from the app before re-pairing.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Disconnect from power before cleaning.
  • Use a fibre-free, slightly dampened cloth.
  • Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
  • Do not apply excessive force to the solar panels (if applicable) or the camera housing.
