Quick Guide
The Extra Crisp lid is an accessory designed exclusively for use with Cook4me multicookers. It transforms your Cook4me into an air fryer. Always ensure the Cook4me lid remains open when using the Extra Crisp lid. Never use the appliance on other recipients like plastic or glass containers.

Preparation for Use
Place the Cook4me on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the bottom of the cooking bowl is clean and free of food or liquid residue. Place the bowl into the Cook4me. Align the handles of the Extra Crisp lid with the handles of the Cook4me bowl. Ensure the power cord is not trapped under the appliance or between the Extra Crisp lid and the open Cook4me lid.
Using the Appliance
Connect the power cord to an electrical socket. Place food in the bowl, ensuring you do not exceed the MAX level mark. Place the Extra Crisp lid on the bowl. You can choose between automatic modes or manual settings:
Manual Settings
Adjust the temperature (70-200°C) and time (0-60 minutes) using the + and - buttons on the digital screen. Press the Start button to begin.
Automatic Cooking Modes
Press the Menu key to select the desired mode (Roast, Grill, Air fry, Bake). Confirm by pressing the Start button.
Some foods require shaking halfway through the cooking time. Remove the appliance from the bowl, shake the food using wooden or plastic utensils, then replace the lid and press Start to resume.
Cleaning and Storage
Clean the appliance after every use. Unplug and let it cool down. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Clean the grid with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners. The appliance is not dishwasher-safe. Store horizontally in a clean, dry place.
Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not start, check that it is correctly positioned on the bowl (the 2 switches must be on, and the power cable must not be trapped). For further assistance, visit the Tefal website or contact your local Consumer Care Centre.

Appliance does not start
Check that it is correctly positioned on the bowl, the 2 switches must be on, and the power cable must not be trapped between the bowl and the lid.
Food is not ready
Place the Extra Crisp lid back on the bowl and set the timer for a few extra minutes.
Before use
- Remove all packaging material and labels.
- Clean the bowl and removable grid with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Ensure Cook4me is on a flat, stable surface.
- Check that the power cord is not trapped under the appliance.
