The Tefal 10-in-1 Multicooker is designed for versatile cooking. It features 10 functions: Rice/Cereal, Risotto, Reheat, Milk Porridge, Stew, Steam/Soup, Yogurt, Baking/Dessert, Crust/Fry, and Keep Warm. To start, plug in the appliance, select your desired function using the Menu button, and press Start. The device will enter standby mode (displaying --) when first plugged in.

Description of Parts

The appliance consists of a removable ceramic bowl, a steam basket, a measuring cup, a rice spoon, a soup spoon, a lid with a removable inner steam shield, a micro pressure valve, and a control panel. Ensure the spoon support is attached to the base.

  • Clean the bowl, steam shield, and pressure valve with a sponge and washing-up liquid.
  • Wipe the outside of the appliance and the lid with a damp cloth.
  • Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly.
  • Ensure the steam shield is correctly positioned behind the ribs on the lid.

Cooking Functions

The multicooker offers various programs with adjustable times and temperatures. Always add ingredients in the correct order (e.g., rice first, then water). Do not exceed the maximum capacity marks inside the bowl.

  • Rice/Cereal & Risotto: Cooking time is determined automatically. Rinse rice thoroughly before cooking (except for risotto rice).
  • Reheat: Default 25 minutes (adjustable 8-45 min).
  • Milk Porridge: Default 10 minutes (adjustable 5-90 min).
  • Stew: Default 60 minutes (adjustable 20 min - 9 hours).
  • Steam/Soup: Default 30 minutes (adjustable 15 min - 2 hours).
  • Yogurt: Default 8 hours (adjustable 6-12 hours). No keep warm function.
  • Baking/Dessert: Default 35 minutes (adjustable 20 min - 4 hours).
  • Crust/Fry: Default 15 minutes (adjustable 5-60 min). Use with oil and food.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug and cool the appliance before cleaning. Do not use a dishwasher. Clean the bowl, steam basket, and valve with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a sponge. Do not use abrasive powders or metal sponges. Do not use water to clean the interior of the appliance body to avoid damaging the heat sensor.

Troubleshooting

If the appliance does not work, check if it is plugged in. If steam leaks, ensure the lid is closed properly and the valve is correctly assembled. For error codes like E0, E1, or E3, stop the appliance, check the bowl/sensor, and restart. If problems persist, contact an authorized service center.

Safety

This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not immerse the appliance in water. Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children under 8 years old. Do not obstruct the steam outlet during cooking.
