This document provides essential instructions for operating the Trevi DJ 12E42 BT Bluetooth stereo headset. Key procedures include charging the internal battery, pairing the device with a smartphone or tablet, managing music playback, and handling phone calls. Please note that the FM radio function is only available on specific export versions.
Battery charging
The headset features an internal rechargeable battery. For the first use, charge the device for 3-4 hours. A full charge provides approximately 10 hours of playback.
- Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the headset and an external power source (5V).
- The LED indicator (5) will turn red during charging and blue when fully charged.
- When the battery is low, you will hear a voice prompt, and the headset will turn off automatically.
Power on and off
Press and hold the Power button (3) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. A voice prompt will confirm the status. The headset will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity if no Bluetooth connection is active.
Pairing with a Bluetooth device
- Turn on the headset; the LED (5) will flash blue and red.
- Enable Bluetooth on your external device and search for DJ12E42BT.
- Select the device to pair; the voice guide will confirm the connection.
Keep devices within one meter during pairing. The maximum operating range is approximately 10 meters.
Music playback and call handling
Use the buttons on the headset to control your media:
- Play/Pause: Press button (3) once.
- Next song: Press button (4).
- Previous song: Press button (2).
- Volume up: Press and hold button (4).
- Volume down: Press and hold button (2).
- Answer/End call: Press button (3) once.
- Reject call: Press and hold button (3).
- Redial last number: Quickly press button (3) twice.
Micro SD card and wired mode
To play music from a Micro SD card, insert the card into slot (6) and press button (3) three times to select the Play by TF card mode. Alternatively, you can use the headset as a passive device by connecting it via a 3.5mm audio cable to an external source.
Safety and maintenance
Do not expose the device to moisture, heat sources, or strong vibrations. Keep the device on a flat surface with at least 10 cm of space for ventilation. Battery removal should only be performed by qualified personnel.
