Safety warnings

Misuse vs. Correct use
Misuse vs. Correct use
  • Only qualified personnel should operate, maintain, or repair this jack.
  • Do not use the jack in severe conditions (extreme climates, strong magnetic fields) or potentially explosive atmospheres.
  • Never exceed the maximum rated lifting capacity.
  • Ensure the load is stable and fixed before lifting.
  • Never work under a raised load.
  • Do not use the front end of the toe plate to lift weight; ensure the load is close to the jack head to prevent bending the pillar.
  • Never screw the adjustable screw (26) as it is part of the overload protection system.

Operation instructions

Lifting:

  1. Place the jack on a solid, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the load is placed stably on the toe plate.
  3. Screw the unload handle (22) tightly in a clockwise direction.
  4. Pump the operating handle up and down repeatedly to lift the load.

Reducing:

  1. Slowly screw out the unload handle (22) in a counter-clockwise direction to lower the load step by step.
  2. The lowering movement can be stopped instantly by tightening the handle again.

Maintenance

Routine inspection is essential for safety:

Exploded view diagram
Exploded view diagram
  • Before operation, check that all stoppers and screws are tightened.
  • Ensure there is no oil leakage on the pump.
  • Inspect the pump body, toe plate, and base for cracks or deformation.
  • If the jack cannot reach its rated height, add hydraulic oil (ISO VG 15). Do not mix different fluids.

Troubleshooting

If the jack fails to operate correctly, check the following:

  • Jack cannot be pumped up: Ensure the release valve is closed by tightening the unload handle (22) clockwise. If air is trapped, loosen screw (15) to release air, then tighten it.
  • Jack cannot be lowered: Ensure the release valve is opened sufficiently by turning the unload handle (22) counter-clockwise.
  • Jack cannot reach max height: Check oil level and add ISO VG 15 hydraulic oil if necessary.
  • Oil leakage: If oil leaks around the plunger, seals may be worn and require replacement by a service center.

Common problems

Jack cannot be pumped up properly

Ensure the release valve is closed by screwing in the unloaded handle (22) clockwise. Release air from the pump by loosening screw (15) and then tightening it.

Jack cannot be released down

Screw out the unload handle (22) in a counter-clockwise direction.

Jack cannot reach max height

Check oil level; add ISO VG 15 hydraulic oil if necessary.

Before use

  • Ensure the jack is on a solid, stable surface.
  • Check that all stoppers and screws are tightened.
  • Verify there is no oil leakage on the pump.
