Product Overview
The Triumph HD 10x42 binocular features a rugged, waterproof, and fogproof design. Key components include:

- Ocular Lenses: The lenses you look through.
- Objective Lenses: The front lenses that gather light.
- Center Focus Wheel: Adjusts focus for both barrels.
- Diopter Adjustment: Fine-tunes focus for the right eye.
- Twist-Up Eyecups: Adjustable for comfortable viewing with or without glasses.
- Strap Attachment Points: For connecting the neck strap or harness.
Basic Operation

Adjusting the Eyecups
The eyecups twist up and down to accommodate different facial structures and the use of eyeglasses. Generally, keep them fully extended when not wearing glasses and fully collapsed when wearing glasses.
Adjusting Interpupillary Distance (IPD)
The IPD is the distance between the centers of the left and right eye pupils. To adjust, rotate the binocular barrels inward or outward until you see a single, clear image free of edge distortion.
Focusing the Binocular
Follow this two-step process using an object about 20 yards away:
- Adjust Center Focus: Close your right eye or cover the right objective lens. Look through the left barrel and turn the center focus wheel until the image is sharp. Leave the wheel in this position.
- Adjust Diopter: Close your left eye or cover the left objective lens. Look through the right barrel and adjust the diopter ring until the image is sharp. Note the position of the diopter setting for future reference.
Accessories

GlassPak Binocular Harness
To attach the harness, thread the wide end of the tether straps through the harness strap buckles. Adjust the harness for a comfortable fit, then thread the tether straps through the binocular attachment points and back through the buckles to secure.
Neck Strap
Attach the padded neck strap by pushing a few inches of the strap through the binocular attachment point, threading the end through the buckle, and adjusting the length until secure.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Periodically clean the exterior lenses. Blow away dust or grit before wiping with a soft cloth. Use products specifically designed for coated optical lenses. Stubborn water spots can be removed using your breath or a very small amount of water or pure alcohol.
Storage
Avoid storing the binoculars in direct sunlight or very hot locations for long periods. Always use the provided lens covers when not in use.
