The WMF Kitchen minis 1-Egg Cooker My Egg is designed for precise egg cooking, allowing you to choose between soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs. It is suitable for egg sizes S to XL. Always ensure the appliance is placed on a dry, slip-resistant, and level surface before use.

Getting started

- Remove the cover (1) using the gripping surface.
- Fill the measuring jug (6) with the required water quantity based on the desired hardness.
- Pour the measured water into the cold heating bowl (3). Do not overfill.
- Pierce the egg using the integrated egg piercer (6) on the measuring jug to prevent cracking.
- Place the egg on the egg insert (2) and put the cover (1) on the appliance.
- Plug the appliance into the mains.
- Press the on/off button (4) to start. The indicator light will glow white.
- An acoustic signal will sound when the egg is cooked.
- Switch off the appliance using the on/off button (4) and unplug it.
- Carefully remove the cover (1) by the gripping surface.
- Remove the egg insert (2) and rinse the egg under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Do not immerse the appliance in water. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid, then dry. The egg insert (2) and cover (1) are dishwasher-safe.
Descaling
Regular descaling is necessary to maintain performance and lifespan. Pour a descaling agent into the heating bowl (3) and let it stand until the limescale has detached. Pour out the solution and rinse thoroughly with cold tap water. Do not heat the appliance during the descaling process.
Safety system
The appliance features a thermostat that switches it off automatically if it is operated without water to prevent overheating. If the thermostat fails, an additional temperature limiter provides protection.
