Quick guide from the manual
The WMF KÜCHENminis 0.8L kettle is designed for household use. To ensure safe and efficient operation, always use the kettle with its provided base, ensure the lid is fully closed during operation, and do not exceed the maximum fill line. The device features an automatic shutoff function that activates shortly after the water boils.
Safety instructions
- Keep the device and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.
- Do not immerse the pot or the base in water.
- Never operate the kettle without water or with an open lid.
- Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces or near open flames.
- Always unplug the device before cleaning, if malfunctions occur, or after use.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer's customer service or a qualified person.
Start-up
Before first use, clean the inside of the pot thoroughly. The kettle can be filled by removing it from the base. The excess cable can be wound at the bottom of the base. Connect the plug to an earthed socket. Fill with water up to the Max line, close the lid, and place the pot on the base. Press the power switch located under the handle; the control lamp will indicate that the device is heating.

Automatic shutoff
The kettle automatically switches off shortly after the water boils. If the pot is filled with only a small amount of water, the shutoff time may be extended. You can manually stop the heating process at any time by pressing the power switch or by lifting the pot from the base.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the device and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Do not immerse the device in water; wipe it with a damp cloth and a little washing-up fluid, then dry. Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents. The strainer in the pour spout can be removed for cleaning by pressing its upper clip upward.
Descaling
Descale the kettle regularly using a high-quality commercial descaling agent. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, especially regarding the subsequent cleaning with clear water. Do not use unsuitable agents based on pure vinegar or citric acid, as this may damage the device and void the warranty.
