This manual provides instructions for operating the ACiQ Platinum remote controller used with wall-mounted air handlers. It covers battery installation, basic operation modes (Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan), timer programming, and advanced features such as Turbo, ECO/GEAR, and Swing.
Handling the Remote Controller
To insert or replace batteries, slide the back cover downward, insert two R03/LR03 3.0V dry batteries matching the (+) and (-) symbols, and slide the cover back into place. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for more than 2 months.
Basic Operation
Ensure the unit is plugged in and powered. Use the MODE button to cycle through Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, and Fan modes. Use the TEMP up/down buttons to adjust the temperature (16-30°C / 60-86°F). Use the FAN SPEED button to adjust fan intensity. Press the ON/OFF button to start or stop the unit.
Setting the TIMER
TIMER ON: Press the TIMER button, then use the Temp up/down buttons to set the desired time (increments of 30 minutes up to 10 hours, then 1 hour increments). Point the remote at the unit and wait 1 second to activate. TIMER OFF: Follow the same procedure using the TIMER button to initiate the OFF sequence. To cancel, set the timer to 0.0h.
Advanced Functions
- Swing: Press the Swing button for horizontal louver movement. Hold for 2 seconds to activate vertical louver auto swing (model dependent).
- Turbo: Enables the unit to reach the preset temperature in the shortest possible time.
- ECO/GEAR: Enters energy-efficient modes. ECO adjusts temperature to 24°C/75°F in cooling mode. GEAR limits electrical energy consumption to 75% or 50%.
- LED: Press to turn the indoor unit's display and buzzer on or off. Hold for 5 seconds to display the actual room temperature.
- Silence: Hold the Fan button for 2 seconds to activate/disable.
- Lock: Press Turbo and Humidity buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the remote.
Safety and Compatibility
The remote must be used within 8 meters of the unit. Direct sunlight, curtains, or other obstacles may interfere with the infrared signal. If the indoor unit does not support a specific function, pressing the corresponding button on the remote will have no effect.

Common problems
Remote signal not received
Ensure you are within 8 meters of the unit and that there are no obstructions like curtains or direct sunlight blocking the infrared receiver.
Function button has no effect
The indoor unit may not support that specific function. If the unit lacks the feature, the button will not trigger any action.
Timer not working as expected
Ensure the timer is set to a value greater than 0.0h. The timer increments by 30 minutes up to 10 hours, then by 1 hour.
Before use
- Ensure the air conditioner is plugged in and has power.
- Install two R03/LR03 3.0V batteries in the remote.
- Check that the remote is within 8 meters of the indoor unit.
- Verify that no obstacles are blocking the infrared signal.
