Handling the Remote Controller

To install or replace batteries, slide the back cover downward, insert two R03/LR03 dry batteries matching the (+) and (-) symbols, and slide the cover back into place. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for more than 2 months.

Basic Operation

To operate the unit, press the MODE button to cycle through AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN modes. Use the TEMP up/down buttons to adjust the temperature (17-30°C / 62-86°F). Use the FAN SPEED button to select fan speed (AUTO, LOW, MED, HIGH). Press ON/OFF to start or stop the unit.

Setting the TIMER

The timer allows the unit to turn on or off automatically after a set time.

  • TIMER ON: Press the TIMER button, then use the TEMP buttons to set the desired time (increments of 30 minutes up to 10 hours, then 1-hour increments). Point the remote at the unit and wait 1 second.
  • TIMER OFF: Follow the same procedure as TIMER ON, but initiate with the TIMER button while the unit is running.
  • Cancellation: Set the timer to 0.0h to cancel.

Advanced Functions

  • Swing: Press the SWING button for horizontal louver movement. Hold for 2 seconds to initiate vertical auto swing (model dependent).
  • LED Display: Press the LED button to turn the indoor unit's display and buzzer on or off. Hold for 5 seconds to display the actual room temperature.
  • Silence: Hold the FAN SPEED button for 2 seconds to activate/disable.
  • ECO: Press the ECO button in COOL mode for energy-efficient operation.
  • Follow Me: The remote measures ambient temperature at its location and sends a signal to the unit every 3 minutes.
  • Lock: Press CLEAN and TURBO simultaneously for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the remote.

Remote signal not received

Ensure you are within 8 meters of the unit and that there are no obstructions like curtains or direct sunlight interfering with the infrared receiver.

Insufficient cooling/heating capacity

If Silence function is active, it may reduce capacity due to low compressor frequency. Disable Silence mode or check if ECO mode is active.

Buttons do not respond

Check if the Lock function is activated (press CLEAN and TURBO for 5 seconds to disable).
