Operation and solar panel usage
The pump will start automatically when it receives sufficient solar power. For best results:
- Position the solar panel to absorb maximum sunlight.
- Shady positions will significantly reduce operating capacity.
- Performance is highest in summer but will work in spring and autumn with good sunshine.
- Regularly top up the water in the bowls to ensure the pump remains submerged.
Cleaning and maintenance
General Cleaning: Regularly change the water in the jug and bowls. Wipe the stand, jug, bowls, and solar panel with a damp cloth.

Cleaning the pump:
- Disconnect the power plug.
- Gently pull the filter housing off the pump and remove the filter.
- Rotate the water outlet clockwise to detach it.
- Remove the impeller.
- Clean the filter housing, filter, water outlet, and impeller under running water.
- Reassemble and attach back to the pump.

If the product does not operate or performance drops:
- Ensure the solar panel is correctly positioned in direct sunlight.
