The Asakuki 1000-DF002 is a premium essential oil diffuser designed to humidify air, diffuse fragrance, and provide ambient lighting. Before first use, ensure the AC power adapter is removed from the water tank. Always place the unit on a flat surface and do not exceed the maximum water line.

  1. Connect the power: Plug the AC adapter into the base of the diffuser.
  2. Add water and oil: Remove the cover, add water up to the max line, and add 2-3 drops of essential oil per 100ml of water.
  3. Power on: Press the 'MIST' button to start the diffuser.

The 'MIST' button controls the diffusion settings:

  • Power On: Press the 'MIST' button for two seconds until you hear a beep. It defaults to 60 minutes.
  • Set Timer: Short press the 'MIST' button to cycle through 60 / 180 / 360 minutes or 'ON' (continuous).
  • Continuous Mode: Short press until the green light stays on 'ON'.
  • Power Off: Long press the 'MIST' button for two seconds.

The 'LIGHT' button manages the LED features:

  • Power On: Short press the 'LIGHT' button once. The light will cycle from dim to bright.
  • Cycle Colors: The light cycles automatically every 3 seconds.
  • Fix Color: Press the 'LIGHT' button again during the cycle to fix a specific color.
  • Adjust Brightness: Press the 'LIGHT' button twice to toggle between bright and dim status.
  • Power Off Light: Long press the 'LIGHT' button for two seconds to turn off the light while keeping the mist running.

Maintenance and cleaning

Clean the diffuser weekly to prevent mold and bacteria growth:

  • Unplug the unit and pour out remaining water from the 'DRAIN SIDE'.
  • Add 2-3 drops of vinegar to 100ml of warm water (up to 70°C).
  • Let it sit for 5 minutes, gently shake, and pour out the water.
  • Wipe the interior with a dry, soft cloth.
  • If not in use for a long time, keep the unit clean and dry.

Troubleshooting

If the diffuser is leaking, unplug it immediately, pour out remaining water, shake gently to drain, and allow it to dry for at least 24 hours. If the device is waterless, it will beep twice.

Diffuser not diffusing strong enough

The device is set to a standard humidity value; it is working as intended.

Essential oil smell is too weak

Adjust the ratio of water to oil. Use 2-3 drops per 100ml of water. For larger tanks, you may increase the drops slightly.

Leaking water

Unplug the unit, pour out remaining water, shake gently to drain, and dry for 24 hours.

  • Check that the AC power cord is inside the water tank before first use.
  • Place the diffuser on a flat, stable surface.
