This guide provides essential instructions for the Vevor 5L Evaporative Humidifier. Before first use, ensure you unpack and rinse the water tank, filter, and base with clean water. Always place the unit on a flat, dry surface at least 1 foot away from walls or electronics to prevent water damage.

Safety and Setup

• Placement: Keep the unit on a flat, dry surface. Maintain a distance of at least 1 foot from walls and electronic devices.
• Initial Cleaning: Unpack the unit and rinse the water tank, filter, and base with clean water before the first use. Dry gently.
• Restrictions: Do not use essential oils or hot water in the humidifier. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Operation

To operate the humidifier:

1. Fill Tank: Remove the tank, twist open the cap, and fill with cool tap water. Do not overfill. Reattach the tank securely.
2. Power On: Plug in the unit and press the power button.
3. Settings: Select the desired humidity level via the control panel. The ideal humidity range is 40–60%. The unit will run automatically to maintain the set level.

Maintenance

• Daily: Empty any leftover water and refill with fresh water to prevent mold growth.
• Weekly: Remove and rinse the evaporative filter with water. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
• Filter Replacement: Replace the filter every 1–2 months, or sooner if it appears discolored or clogged.
• Long-Term Storage: Drain all water, dry the tank, base, and filter completely, and store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

• No mist: Check if the tank is empty, ensure the filter is properly installed, and verify the power cord is connected.
• Low humidity: Clean the filter and ensure the room size does not exceed 538.2 sq. ft.
• Odd smell: Replace the filter and clean the tank and base thoroughly.
