This document provides assembly and operation instructions for the Ashley 1180715SLC3PIECE power reclining sofa. The unit requires assembly by two or more people. Ensure all parts are present before beginning and do not tighten bolts until all are started. The sofa features integrated power reclining, heating, and massage functions.

Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble the sofa:

• Unpack all components and verify all parts are present.
• Assemble the unit with at least two people.
• Connect the power cables between the back and seat sections, ensuring all snap joints are properly buckled.
• Connect the main power supply to the wall outlet.
• Do not tighten any bolts until all bolts have been started.

Control Panel Operation

The control panel includes a USB port (2.1A max) and six primary keys:

• Key 1: Power recline open.
• Key 2: One-button reset (home position); closes recline and headrest, stops heating and massage.
• Key 3: Headrest open.
• Key 4: Headrest closed.
• Key 5: Press once to start heating (indicator light on); press again to stop. Heating automatically turns off after 30 minutes.
• Key 6: Press once to start massage; press again to stop. Massage runs through three cycles (Steady, Wave, Pulse) and automatically turns off after 20 minutes.

Troubleshooting

If features are not working, check the following:

• Switch issues: Ensure the correct power supply is used, the plug is secure, and all cables between the motor and seat are connected.
• Massage issues: Ensure the massage key is pressed and that air tubes between the back and seat are properly connected.
• Heating issues: Ensure the heating key is pressed and the indicator light is on.
