This device is a dimmer controller designed for single-color LED strips. It allows for on/off switching and brightness adjustment using the included infrared remote control. The controller operates on a 12V or 24V DC power supply.
Product Description
The Avide LED controller is a compact unit designed to sit between your power supply and the LED strip. It features a DC input for the power supply and output wires for the LED strip connection.

Remote Control Functions
The included remote control features 4 buttons:
- On/Off: Turns the LED strip on or off.
- Brightness Up: Increases the light intensity.
- 50% Brightness: Sets the brightness to 50% instantly.
- Brightness Down: Decreases the light intensity.
Installation and Wiring
The controller must be installed between the power supply and the LED strip. Follow these steps for proper connection:

- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before starting.
- Connect the LED strip to the output side of the controller. Use soldering or quick wire connectors.
- Important: Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) terminal.
- Connect the power supply to the DC input jack on the controller.
Technical Specifications
- Voltage Range: 12-24V DC
- Power: 48W
- IP Rating: IP20 (Indoor use only)
- Operating Temperature: -20°C to +40°C
Safety and Compatibility
The system voltage must be consistent throughout the setup. If you are building a 12V system, both the LED strip and the power supply must be 12V. If you are building a 24V system, both the LED strip and the power supply must be 24V. Mismatched voltages can damage the equipment.

Practical help
Common problems
Verify that the power supply voltage matches the LED strip voltage (12V or 24V). Check that the red and black wires are connected to the correct polarity.
Ensure the infrared remote is pointed towards the controller and that there are no obstructions. Check if the remote battery is functional.
Before use
- Verify that your LED strip and power supply have the same voltage (12V or 24V).
- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before wiring.
- Check that the red wire is connected to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal.
- Confirm the total power of the LED strip does not exceed 48W.
Specs in practice
- Voltage Range (12-24V)
- The controller supports both 12V and 24V systems, but the power supply and LED strip must match the chosen voltage.
Images and diagrams
- The wiring diagram illustrates the connection sequence: Power Supply -> DC Plug -> Controller -> LED Strip (Red to Red, Black to Black).
Model compatibility
- Compatible with single-color LED strips only.
- Requires a matching 12V or 24V DC power supply.
