Quick Guide

The BaByliss 2358U Titanium Brilliance Conical Wand is designed for styling hair. To operate, ensure your hair is dry and combed, wear the provided heat protective glove, and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit on. Select your desired temperature using the +/- buttons. Wrap hair around the barrel for 5-8 seconds, then release. The device features an automatic shut-off after 60 minutes.

Safety Precautions

• Burn Hazard: The appliance gets extremely hot. Keep out of reach of children at all times.
• Bathroom Use: UK users must not use this appliance in the bathroom. Outside the UK, if used in a bathroom, unplug immediately after use.
• Water Safety: Do not use near bathtubs, showers, or basins containing water. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
• Damage: Inspect the appliance and lead before use. If damaged, discontinue use immediately. Do not attempt repairs yourself.
• Surface Safety: Do not place the appliance on heat-sensitive surfaces, even when using the provided heat mat.

Instructions for Use

Before styling, ensure hair is dry and divided into sections. Wear the universal heat protective glove on the hand wrapping the hair.

1. Press and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn the appliance on. The display will flash while heating.
2. Use the +/- buttons to select the appropriate heat setting. The display will stop flashing once the temperature is reached.
3. Take a section of hair, starting 2 inches from the scalp. Place the appliance next to the hair section with the end pointing downwards.
4. Wind the hair around the barrel, starting from the top (closest to the handle) down to the end.
5. Hold for 5-8 seconds, then unwind or release the hair.
6. Allow the curl to cool before further styling.

Switch Activation Control

The appliance features a delayed activation control. Temperature buttons automatically lock 5 seconds after the appliance is turned on. To adjust settings, hold the '+/-' button for 1-2 seconds to deactivate the lock. To turn off while in lock mode, hold the power button for 1-2 seconds.

Temperature Settings

There are 6 temperature settings available: 160°C, 170°C, 180°C, 190°C, 200°C, and 210°C. Use lower settings for delicate, fine, bleached, or coloured hair, and higher settings for thicker hair. Always perform a test on initial use.

Care & Maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance after use and before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing.
• Do not wrap the lead around the appliance; coil it loosely by the side.
• Do not use the appliance at a stretch from the power point.

Warranty

This BaByliss appliance is guaranteed for consumer use for 3 years within the United Kingdom. This covers defects occurring under normal use. For faults within 12 months, return to the point of purchase. For faults after 12 months, contact the Conair UK After Sales Service for repair or replacement.
