Quick Guide

The BaByliss 2356U Titanium Brilliance Waves features a delayed activation control and an automatic shut-off function. The appliance has 6 heat settings ranging from 160°C to 210°C. Always use the provided heat protective glove and mat during styling to prevent burns.

Safety Precautions

• Burn Hazard: The appliance gets extremely hot. Keep out of reach of children at all times.
• Bathroom Use: UK users must not use this appliance in the bathroom. Outside the UK, if using in a bathroom, unplug after use and consider installing an RCD.
• Damage: Do not use if the appliance or lead is damaged. Do not attempt repairs yourself.
• Surface Safety: Do not place the appliance on heat-sensitive surfaces, even when using the provided heat mat.

Instructions for Use

1. Ensure hair is dry, combed, and free of tangles. Divide hair into sections.
2. Press and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn the unit on. The display will flash while heating.
3. Select the desired heat setting using the '+/-' button. The display will stop flashing once the temperature is reached.
4. Note: Temperature settings lock automatically after 5 seconds. To adjust, hold the '+/-' button for 1-2 seconds to unlock.
5. Wear the provided heat protective glove on the hand wrapping the hair.
6. Take a section of hair, starting 2 inches from the scalp. Point the end of the appliance downwards.
7. Wind the hair around the barrel, starting from the top. Hold for 5-8 seconds.
8. Unwind or release the hair and allow the curl to cool before styling.
9. After use, press and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds to switch off and unplug.

Heat Settings

There are 6 temperature settings available: 160°C, 170°C, 180°C, 190°C, 200°C, and 210°C. Use lower settings for delicate, fine, bleached, or coloured hair, and higher settings for thicker hair. Always perform a test on initial use.

Auto Shut Off

The appliance features an automatic shut-off after 60 minutes of continuous use. To continue using after this time, press and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn it back on.

Care & Maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance after use.
• Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing.
• Do not wrap the lead around the appliance; coil it loosely by the side.
• Do not use the appliance at a stretch from the power point.
