This document provides instructions for the BEGA 12278.1K3 wall luminaire. It is an indoor lighting fixture designed for wall mounting with light emission directed upwards and downwards. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations.

Product Description
The luminaire features an aluminium alloy housing with a white finish and crystal glass with a white interior. It is designed for indoor use and includes an LED power supply unit.
Installation
- Undo the set screws and remove the luminaire housing.
- Loosen the earth connection (plug connection) and the LED connection between the housing and the mounting plate.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the mounting plate.
- Fix the mounting plate to the mounting surface using the enclosed or other suitable fixing material. It is imperative to use the enclosed gaskets.
- Note the application position marked with an arrow pointing down.
- Make the earth connection and electrical connection to the terminals.
- Reconnect the earth and LED connections between the housing and the mounting plate.
- Install the luminaire onto the mounting plate and tighten the set screws evenly.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers. If the glass is defective, it must be replaced. The LED module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools; refer to the label in the luminaire for the specific module designation.
