This document provides installation and maintenance instructions for the BEGA 12132P ceiling and wall light. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations. The luminaire features a metal housing and an impact-resistant synthetic diffuser.
Product description
The luminaire is designed for indoor use, providing soft and uniform light distribution. It features a bayonet closure for the diffuser and is rated IK08 for impact resistance.

Installation
- Ensure the power supply is disconnected.
- Pass the mains supply cable through the grommet into the luminaire housing.
- Fix the luminaire housing to the mounting surface using the enclosed or suitable fixing material. It is imperative to use the enclosed gaskets.
- Dismantle the mains supply cable approximately 60 mm.
- Make the earth and electrical connections to the terminals.
- Place the synthetic diffuser onto the luminaire housing, ensuring the cam pins fit into the notches.
- Secure the diffuser by turning it clockwise.
LED unit replacement
The LED unit can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Ensure the installation is disconnected from the main supply before starting. Unscrew the synthetic diffuser by turning it counter-clockwise, disassemble the old LED unit, and install the new one. Reattach the diffuser by turning it clockwise.

Common problems
Diffuser does not attach securely
Ensure the cam pins on the housing are correctly aligned with the notches on the synthetic diffuser before turning clockwise.
LED failure
The LED unit is replaceable. Ensure the power is disconnected before attempting to disassemble the unit.
Before use
- Ensure power supply is disconnected before installation.
- Verify the mounting surface is suitable for the luminaire.
- Use the enclosed gaskets during installation.
- Do not touch the light output opening of the LED directly with hands.
- Ensure the earth connection is properly made.
