Product Description
The tool features a retractable depth stop, a universal bit holder, and a PowerSAVE mode to optimize battery life. The rotational direction switch allows for both clockwise and counter-clockwise operation.
Assembly and Setup
- Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Insert the battery into the handle until it clicks into place.
- Tool Change: Remove the battery before changing bits. Pull off the depth stop (4), remove the screwdriver bit (1), and replace the universal bit holder (14) if necessary. Reattach the depth stop after changing the tool.
Operation
- Rotational Direction: Use the switch (5) to change direction. Ensure the switch is in the middle position when not in use or during transport to prevent accidental startup.
- Switching On/Off: Press and hold the on/off switch (12). Use the lock-on button (6) for continuous operation.
- PowerSAVE Mode: Press the PowerSAVE button (9) to activate. The motor remains deactivated until the tool is pressed against the workpiece.
- Depth Adjustment: Turn the adjusting sleeve (3) to set the desired screw-in depth.
Maintenance
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. If the battery fails, contact an authorized Bosch service center. Do not attempt to repair damaged batteries yourself.

Motor does not start
Check battery charge. If in PowerSAVE mode, press the tool firmly against the workpiece to activate the motor.
