This document provides essential operating instructions for the Bosch EasyDrill 18V-38 and EasyImpact 18V-38 cordless drills. Key tasks include battery installation, tool changing, and mode selection. Always ensure the battery is removed before performing maintenance or changing tools to prevent accidental activation.

Device Description
The drills feature a keyless chuck, torque presetting ring, and a gear selector. The EasyImpact 18V-38 model includes an additional operating mode ring for impact drilling in brick.
Operation
Rotational Direction: Use the switch (9) to change direction. Right rotation for drilling/screwing; left rotation for loosening screws. This cannot be changed while the on/off switch (10) is pressed.
Speed/Impact Adjustment: Speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the on/off switch (10). Light pressure results in low speed/impact rate; increased pressure increases the speed/impact rate.
Torque Preselection: Use the ring (3) to select the required torque in 20 stages. The tool stops when the screw is flush or the set torque is reached.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before transport, storage, or maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.
