The Bosch GAS 18V-1 Professional is a cordless dry vacuum cleaner designed for vacuuming non-hazardous dry materials. It features a bagless Rotational Airflow system where dirt is collected on the inner wall of the container.

Operation

To operate the vacuum cleaner, ensure the filter unit is securely fitted. Press the on/off button (3) to switch the device on or off. Always remove the battery before performing maintenance, cleaning, or changing accessories to prevent accidental startup.

Maintenance and Cleaning

For optimal suction power, empty the dust container (6) and coarse dirt filter (1) after each use. Regularly clean the Rotational Airflow unit (17) and the filter (16).

Emptying the Dust Container

1. Hold the vacuum cleaner over a suitable waste bin.
2. Press the release button (7) to open the emptying flap (8).
3. Shake out the dust container (6).
4. Close the flap until it clicks into place.

Cleaning the Rotational Airflow Unit and Filter

1. Hold the vacuum cleaner slightly downwards to prevent dust from falling out.
2. Press the release button (2) to remove the dust container (6) from the motor housing (5).
3. Use the filter grips (15) to pull the Rotational Airflow unit (17) and filter (16) out of the container.
4. Shake out the container and the unit over a waste bin.
5. Push the locking tab (18) up to remove the filter (16) for cleaning. Tap it gently against a solid surface to loosen dust. Replace if damaged.

Troubleshooting

If suction power is insufficient, check if the dust container (6) is full, the coarse dirt filter (1) is clogged, the Rotational Airflow unit (17) or filter (16) is clogged, or if the battery (4) capacity is too low.
