Assembly
Inserting the Battery: Push the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place.

Inserting the Application Tool:
- GDR 18V-215: Pull the locking sleeve forward, insert the bit into the tool holder, and release the sleeve to lock it.
- GDX 18V-285: Slide the application tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.
Operation
Direction of Rotation: Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction. Do not change while the tool is running.

Speed/Impact Rate: Regulate the speed by varying the pressure on the On/Off switch.
Working Modes: The tool features preset working modes for specific applications, selectable via the User Interface:
- ABR (GDX 18V-285): Automatic shutdown when the nut is loosened.
- Auto Shut-off (Metal): Stops the tool automatically when the torque increases and impact function starts.
- Auto Slow-down (Wood) (GDR 18V-215): Reduces speed during tightening to prevent over-tightening.
Maintenance
Clean the air vents regularly to prevent dust accumulation. Clean the tool holder and locking sleeve periodically. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes.
