Assembly
Before assembly, ensure the battery is removed. Attach the protective guard (5) to the trimmer head until it clicks into place, then secure it with the provided screw. The handle (3) can be unfolded by pressing button (7). The wheel (6) can be attached to the trimmer head by aligning it and rotating until the lever (11) clicks.
Operation
The trimmer features an adjustable height (10) and an adjustable working angle (4) for different tasks: 48° for grass cutting, 36° for edge trimming, and 24° for cutting under bushes or benches. To operate, press the safety lock (9) and then hold the trigger (8). The IntelliFEED system automatically feeds the cutting line as needed.
Battery and Charging
Use only Bosch 18V Li-ion batteries. The battery is partially charged upon delivery; charge it fully before first use. The charger features intelligent temperature control (0°C to 35°C). LED indicators on the charger provide status updates: flashing green indicates charging, solid green indicates full charge, and red indicates temperature or charging errors.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Regularly clean the tool and ventilation slots. If the trimmer vibrates excessively, check the spool and mounting components. If the line breaks or fails to feed, inspect the spool for tangles or empty status. For repairs, contact an authorized Bosch service center. Do not spray the tool with water or submerge it.
