If you are installing two or more antennas, it is imperative that they be at least 3 feet apart from one another to ensure proper operation.

Product Description

These mobile antennas are designed to transmit and receive RF signals from any direction. They are compatible with BWI Eagle 2.4GHz Air-Eagle RF Systems and ensure reliable communications whether the vehicle is stopped or in motion. Available in bracket or magnetic mounting styles.

Installation – Bracket Mount

This method applies to model 49-2201.

Bracket and Magnetic Mount Antennas
Bracket and Magnetic Mount Antennas
  1. Locate the highest available point to mount the bracket. Note that there is only 17 feet of coax cable available.
  2. Using the bracket as a template, screw the bracket to the mounting surface.
  3. Thread the supplied antenna to the NMO mount on the bracket. When properly connected, the antenna should be snug against the mounting surface.
  4. Run the supplied coax cable from the antenna to the transmitter or receiver.
  5. Connect the TNC-male connector on the coax cable to the TNC-female connector on the transmitter or receiver.

Installation – Magnetic Mount

This method applies to model 49-2202.

  1. Locate the highest available point on your vehicle to attach the magnetic mount assembly. The magnet requires a minimum of a 3-inch diameter flat surface area.
  2. Thread the supplied antenna to the top of the roof mount connector. When properly connected, the antenna should be snug against the mounting surface.
  3. Run the supplied coax cable from the antenna to the transmitter or receiver.
  4. Connect the TNC-male connector on the coax cable to the TNC-female connector on the transmitter or receiver.
