Product Overview

Mounting and Installation

Ensure at least 5 cm of ventilation space around all sides of the enclosure to allow heat to dissipate from the amplifier. Keep power and signal cables separated on opposite sides of the vehicle to minimize noise interference. Always disconnect the vehicle battery ground before starting electrical work. Install a fuse or circuit breaker within 30 cm of the battery for safety.

Power Connections

Connect the +12V terminal directly to the vehicle battery using a cable of at least 10 mm². The ground (GND) terminal must be securely fastened to the vehicle chassis, ensuring the connection point is free of paint or undercoating. The remote (REM) wire should be connected to the remote output of your head unit to control the amplifier's power state.

Signal Input

The BC 112SA offers two signal input methods: High Level input using the speaker outputs from your radio (via the included connector) or RCA input using RCA cables. Never use both the High Level and RCA inputs simultaneously.

Amplifier Adjustments

To tune the system, set the input level knob to minimum and the radio volume to approximately 3/4 of its maximum. Gradually increase the input level until you hear the amplifier begin to distort, then back it off slightly. Note that Caliber amplifiers clip very softly, which may require careful listening.

Safety and Maintenance

Operate the device within a temperature range of 0°C to +45°C. Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. If you encounter issues, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Contact your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for service. For further information, visit www.calibereurope.com.
